Should be easy question

I looked all over for what knot to use when tying rope on to a fender. Plenty of videos on how to tie fender to railing, life line, etc. but can’t find something on how to tie rope through the eye on the fender itself. What does everyone use?

I don't know how large a fender you have but for my approx. 24" fenders my Marine dealer actually sells a dooey that alows one to adjust the line and a plastic clip to hold it in place. They are made specifically for fenders. Not all docks are of the same height . A bit pricey at $1.50 each, CDN.

My fenders are 11” X 30” due to the size of our boat (40’). Clips sound interesting. Where can I buy them?
