I picked up 2 pre cut 6X8 rolls of outdoor carpet at lowes, $17.00 each, not bad price. I found out last night, while installing, you def. get what you pay for. The adhesive I'm using is really good stuff, I've used this brand before, started soaking through the carpet in a few spots where I guess I had a little extra glue. I should have known better when I unrolled the carpet that the backing was really thin for this. It was not really "rubber backed", there is a thin layer of rubber on it, but not enough I guess. I'm hoping that today I can wipe the spots up with some really hot water, should work, I've cleaned this stuff up after 24 hours set time with hot water & it worked out. I didn't get a chance to really look at the backing in the store because it was wrapped up in rolls. Next time I'll cut one open. Thanks, just wanted to vent a little.
