Re: Should I buy a four winns fling?

what is a good smaller bow rider to get? What about engine size and brand? Is $2000 unreasonable for an older boat? Many noob questions.

The boat pictured is a Starcraft Super Sport. They called all their aluminum bow riders Super Sports and they are available in lengths from 16'-22'. You should be able to find one in the $2k price range. If if they're in rough shape, they're very easily rehabbed. Sylvan, Sea Nymph, Smokercraft, Mirrocraft, Alumacraft etc. are all comparable aluminum hull manufacturers.

Re: Should I buy a four winns fling?

This will be my first boat. I am looking for a boat the size of a fling. I have a chance to purchase a 1994 fling with trailer and cover for $2300. Is this a good boat for a novice? Is this a fair price? Thanks for the info.

I have a chance to buy the following boat for $2500.

Any opinions on this boat would be appreciated. Also, is it possible to put a Bimini top on this and about how much would that run.

Thanks
