Should I buy a honda?

I found a boat that I am interested in. It has a 06' 225Honda with 06' 8 horse kicker. I have always felt confident in smaller Honda kicker motors, but haven't had any experience with the newer big ones, are they as good as you would think they would be? Are they similar in weight to a Yamaha of the same size. Are there any red flags with larger h.p. Hondas? Any advice would be great!!

A lot of police boats and Coast Guard boats use big Hondas. That has gotta say something about their reliability

My opinion is you'll never go wrong with a Honda. You may be able to do better but until you learn what might suit you better, the Honda will be a faithful companion.
