Should I buy it?

Re: Should I buy it?

My thoughts...the price isn't even a rounding error for what is a decent entry level. It's common for it to run fine on land only to show issues under load. If it isn't showing signs of milky oil as mentioned above, cracked block or other show stoppers, I would buy it.

Waiting anxiously for pics of the new purchase.

Attached pics. SO far so good.. Trailered it home yesterday with no problems. WIll get it into a mechanic next week fr a tuneup and go over. Fingers crossed nothing major but will tune up and replace impeller and all fluids. Hope to have in the water in a few weeks.

Also may have to replace lights on trailer and need a new tire and check the bearings. (time for another post seeking advice.)

Thanks to all for all th einput. Merry Christmas to all.boat h.jpgboat c.jpgboat d.jpgboat e.jpgboat f.jpg

Nice. Thanks for the update. Trailer lights are easy (and issues with them are par for the course).

To check the bearings just jack up one wheel at a time and give them a spin. Then try to move them side to side. If they sound OK when spinning and don't have excessive movement side to side you're good.
