Should I drill holes in bilge area on my Glasspar Avalon?

Probably a dumb question, but this is my first boat so I'll ask it anyway.

I noticed that I have only one drain hole(below my finger in the pic) for water to run to my bilge area. Shouldn't there be a drain hole on both sides of the bilge area also. The way it is now, I would assume water could drain from the front of the boat and collect on either side of the bilge area and have no way to drain.

Is this correct or is there no way for water to get in there?

Thats what bilge pumps are for, or you can wait till its back on the trailer, or pull the plug while your running and it will go out.

It is a little hard to tell where you are looking for certain.
I am assuming the photos are looking aft at the inside of the transom?

Just a wild guess; The spaces under the two sides you pointed out are probably sealed spaces filled with foam.
This is the flotation foam that keeps the boat from going to the bottom if it were ever swamped.
There should not be any way for water to get in there.

Yup, the vid was taken under the splashwell looking at the bilge and transom.

Good to know about the flotation foam and water can't get in there. I've been wondering about that area since I got the boat.

Thanks!
