In January I go to school to begin my career as an aircraft mechanic. You are retiring and I'm just starting! That sucks! LOL

My dad has been retired for about 13 years and has been working for most of it. Doesn't work for the same place as he retired from. He retired from john deere making riding mowers and then sat for abuot 2 months doing nothing. Said to ma that he couldn't take sitting there and felt like he was dying off fast so he went and got a part time job. It was his mentalilty tho. Gotta be doing something always.
