Tried both method, dry or wet shut off and it never made any noticeble difference. Now that I dont have to carry the motor in the trunk of my vehicule I dont run em dry. My mecanic says most of the gas evaporated after sitting there for over 6 days but the oil stays .... Right or wrong ... I like that. LOL
