i had a ranger with jump seats in the back of the extended cab. Techinally you could seat 4, but the back to seats were not really seats.

those were to just hold a six pack of beer, right. LOL:D

Re: Should I try this?

My wife likes driving my Dakota.

My wife likes driving my Dodge 3500 Cummins.......well she liked it the one time I let her drive it anyway!!!

Bowrider200, give it a shot with the Honda, trying it a few times will make it pretty apparent to her that the wear and tear on her car probably isn't a good idea, then she is making the call instead of you and I don't think that it will hurt anything if you do it a couple times just be careful about it you know? pulling your boat out of the water or stopping will be where she sees the difference most likely.

Re: Should I try this?

So I didn't use the Pilot after all. I asked my buddy who was coming along for the trip if he thought the Pilot could handle it (he's a mechanical engineer/gearhead). He answered exactly like I expected, "you want me to pull it" (he has a Lincoln Navigator) so I said sure. So it worked out great, he and my other buddy paid for hauling, drinks, launching, and pizza once we returned home. The Chevy and the Pilot got the day off.

some of those little women like to drive big trucks. I guess it makes them feel big or something.

I had this 5'2 100 lb girl driving my explorer in college, and that made her day.

She was driving me around all day while i was drinking. lol.
