Well more question?s for the boat god?s. I?m a beginner at boats and weighing out all my options before I get THE boat for me. A few questions about the zodiac, how good is the transom I have heard about problems, also as far as day to day maintenance goes I put it away and don?t think about it until I need it. Also I like to take my boats in shallower water. OK the big question should I consider a zodiac, I like the looks of them and just about every government agency involved in water has one.

Re: should I

transom would be good as long as you inflate the boat properly, if you underinflate it the transom will be bouncy and will rip after a while ..... day to day maintenance - keep it out the sun as much as possible and deflate slightly when putting away for a while ..... zodiacs are great boats ..... what do you wanto use the boat for?

Re: should I

The boat would be used manily for fishing with the family, and some times search and rescue, I have a toyota truck that I would be towing it with. the thing that I'm worried about is beaching it, and mabey getting it in flood waters and having something hurt the boat.
