We bought our new 24' Bentley this summer and a trailer. It seems we are denting the pontoons on the inside when putting the boat in the water. Any tips to avoid this damage?

I don't know poonton boats very well.

However... Using Google Images search, I found a picture of poontoon boat trailer with padded guides.

Perhaps your poonton boat trailer guides need to be adjusted? re: They are trying to sandwich the boat too much?

Or, perhaps you need "position" guides like within the above URL. To me, PVC piping is more of a visual guide.

Hope this helps...

Haven't searched for it, but I'd imagine they make "roller guides" for your trailer, as it's more than likely caused from the initial "alignment contact".

This type of guides seam to work the best.
