Yep....a puny 4.3 Ralph It's an 18' bowrider. It's no race boat, that's for sure.....but it does ok for us. Don't think I could keep up with your twin 350's. It's only been running about 46mph(according to the speedo). Someone on here told me it would run 4-5 mph faster with the whaletail taken off. Might have to try it just to see what happens. Thanks for the compliment....been getting lots of those when we go to the lake. I looked at a lot of boats but I knew I wanted this one when I saw it. And you'll never guess where I bought it.................... EBAY!!! LMAO!!!

DragRacer, No joke, I rebuilt 75% of my boat off eBay. Either directly or from contacts I made there. I couldn't have done it otherwise

1964 Glastron Skiflite 142 with '64 Evinrude Lark VI 40 hp. Will be rebuilding the transom (rotting wood) before I take it out again.<br /><br />

AmigaDragon,My dad bought a 64'14ft Glastron in 1965 that was identical to your boat.We have many memories fishing in the Laguna Madre in Corpus Christi in it.His was rigged with a 40 hp Johnson.He bought it form a guy who won it at a Sigmore Shamrock service station drawing.The guy never used it and sold boat motor and trailer for $1000.Thanks for the memories.
