Shrink Wrapping

I found a place that sells rolls of shrink wrapping for winter storage.

I was wondering if it was difficult to get the wrapp shrunk without the use of their special shrink wrapping heat gun. I'm assuming that one can use a regular paint stripping heat gun, instead of a propane powered gun.

Has anyone tried to shrink wrapp on their own?

I been on a shrink wrapp web site and read their F.A.Qs, it doesn't seem to difficult.
