Re: sick boats

I thought the boats were going to have the flu or something like that. Title is misleading to an old dude. :D

I would never do that with my boat but the video is awesome.

Re: sick boats

i'm older but would do that in a heart beat, have been drooling over white water for a long time.
had a 15' checkmate/140 merc was drunk and flat out on the mississippi about 1 a.m. and hit a roller or something.
think the boat actually flipped end over end, again not really sure.
just know we went air born came down and nose dug in buddy flipped right out over the front then air and a loud flop or thud.
she hit bottom first then rolled up on her side and i thought i was going to flip side ways.
she kind of slid like that and think spun but in the end was upright and floating.
scared i thought buddy was dead but here he came swimming up to the boat.
what a mess but did get her running again, lost a lot of stuff that night.
way beyond stupid and never again at night like that.
that boat flat loved being in the air however.

Re: sick boats

how about a 13.5 ft hustler with a 50 hp on it.
had that before the checkmate, it was a racing hull was told by the dealer.
the dealer was an exracer and understand he was pretty good, name john celletti.
very light and hammering it out of the hole the whole boat prop and all would rip out of the water.
she would skip a couple of times then would be pretty much flat out.
i ran a cupped 3 blade and top was about 55 mph but that hole shot was something.
i'm going all the way back to 1965 on this one and took this group of girls skiing practically every day.
the girls all were believe me outstandingly beautiful
married one, one was killed at 19, one got leukemia and died, one became a playboy bunny and all were very intelligent ladys.
my wife wasn't to smart, she married me. lol
the girl with leukemia look magazine did a multi page article on her because of her incredible beauty and intelligence, what a waste of gods art.
