Signal Lights Cut Out

I have a rebuild going on (61 Stamas Runabout) and recently went over the trailer. Just finished the bearings and re-wired it. Problem is that the signal lights stop working completely when I turn on my truck headlights. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Truck is new used and came with a nice hitch and wiring installed.

You have a bad ground between your vehicle and the trailer. Make sure there is a dedicated ground going through the connector and that the ground from the connector on the trailer connects to a bare metal ground on the trailer.
