Hi!
I have one omc cobra that i just have changed the bellows and lower shift cable on.. Now its time for adjusting it ,the problem is that i live in sweden and the after market for omc is very small. So i wonder if there is some nice person out there that can help me with one easy drawing or photo with measures so i can make one plate with plywood or some thing:)...

You can buy them on ebay. All they do is hold the bellcrank at 90 degrees.

I ended up biting the bullet and bought the proper adjustment tools. If you would like I can measure it out and send you a sketch with the dimensions later this evening. I tried getting help with that last summer on this site with no luck so just bought the tools for $35usd on ebay.

$(KGrHqZ,!ogE-0zBOZHJBPz2Pb21Sg~~60_1.JPG Same here, got one from eBay as well. The material alone to make a metal one and machining + time would not worth the cost of it.
It is just a stick that is machined. If you can't afford $35 on a tool that will align $5000 engine/outdrive combo, sell the boat
Wood can deform and worst case leave splinters in there. Perhaps a tool from hard plastic would be better.
I was gonna ask to rent one but return shipping once covers the cost of the tool...
