Singing the praises of Smart Tabs.

Been out now a number of times since I installed Smart Tabs. I always take the youngsters out and do fairly low speed watersport activities such as tubing an newbie double skiing.

All of this in the low to mid 2k rpm range. BST'S, I was always running bow up, fighting to keep a decent speed while seesawing back and forth between plane and displacement.

Now, whatd'ya need? 2100 rpm? 2300 rpm? No problem. Fully loaded boat is on plane, the bow is down where I can see ahead of me, I'm not seesawing back and forth on the throttle and I can hold the constant speed of my choice.

It's like an entirely new boat.8)

There are two types of v-hull boaters. Those who have experienced some type of trim tabs and those who haven't . . .

Ya know what cracks me up? People (often salesmen) who say "this boat doesn't need trim tabs".

The ones I like are the ones that say.

"What ya got those things on ther for????????? Must be something wrong with your boat if you have to have those".

Then I go out and blow there outboards off.:^
