single point oil injection

Our 2003 115 classic merc 4 cylinder has a single point oil injection system according to literature I've read. Does it inject into the fuel lines prior to entering the cylinder? How is this different from the 2 point injection systems of the Optimax? No computer to monitor demand?

it "injects" the oil into the main fuel line, i believe. it still goes through the carbs, you just dont have to mix it.<br /><br />the optimax has a 2 point system cause it directly injects the fuel into the cylinder at a different point than where it injects the oil.<br /><br />just like the Etec, kinda.
