sizes/specs of Fuel and breather hoses on Crossflow? Change to Silicon or another?

Hi,

I want to replace all the rubber lines on the motor while apart on the bench (115 1984 Johnson). I couldnt find the specs in the OMC manual. Does anyone have them? Or I'll take some to the store I guess. These are the carb lines, and recirculation lines.

Was also interested if generic Autozone stock is fine or not, or would Silicon replacement be better (or another alternative)?

You'll need to be careful with some of the fuel hoses under the cowling. Those that appear to have a 90 degree bend in them are special hoses, heated by the factory to bend at an acute angle, yet still flow maximum fuel. Bulk hose will kink if bent into some of the shapes of the fuel hose. If the hose does not seem to kink now, it may after it ages a little. You don't want the engine to run lean on fuel... The factory created special part numbers for those "critical" hoses. Get the those factory hoses and use the bulk hose in the other instances. You may have a hard time finding the special fuel primer hose-it's really small. Bombardier dealers also sell the fuel primer and recirc hoses in bulk, so it's not that expensive. Yea,,,I got some bulk for a couple of them, and some for the little breather type lines--I will get original stuff for anything that is bent. Taking no chances after this type of complete rebuild! thans for responding.
