I have loved these boat since I was a kid. I saw on the other day and as usual it was just about sitting even with the water line. He cruised around like that for awhile and then the boat jumped out of the water and sat way above the water line. I have always wondered how these boats keep from getting swamped while crusing at slow speeds? Or at least a lot of water in the boat from waves?

If the wave is extremely steep they can swamp. For typical waves on inland waters the hull rides up as the wave passes underneath. Same for any other low profile design. Be it ski boat, or bass boat, or flats boat, or jon boat, etc.

Kelly Cook

Thanks for the replies. Ya those people looked like they were getting wet at times lol. Very hot day, so that is not neccessarily a bad thing. Just looks scary and cool at the same time
