Sleeving a cylinder

I have a 1993 Yamaha 200hp with a bad #1 hole. I was going to bore it out and put a new piston in it but I see the top narrow port has a 1/4" chunk missing. Is this bad news for trhe cylinder or can it be run without incident because it is an intake port. If not I will have to resleeve. Has anyone resleeved the Yam 200 block and can it be done in the garage if you freeze and bake and push it in. Someone said you don't have much time to align everything but is it that hard to do? Do you have to remove an existing sleeve or just bore the hole to accomodate the new sleeve Anytech help out there. Thanks

Find a "Marine Engine" machine shop who knows what they're doing and let them re-sleeve your cylinder. They can machine match your cylinder with your piston. Good Luck!
