Slightly bent skeg

Just noticed it this morning. Ok to bend it back? It's not layed over...just a slight bend...to port :D

Ya my new/used one is slightly bent to, I haven't noticed any performence problems though, I am afraid that if I try hitting it too hard that I will crack it, I think its aluminum alloy.

If it doesn't affect perfomance I would leave it alone, if you snap it now you have a real problem.

If you absolutely must straighten it use 2 hammers and TAP(tap: to hit slightly harder than you would your own finger) it back into place using the heavier hammer as a backer, you don't want to just hit it as it will bend somewhere else.

This is probably your safest DIY method BUT--Use rubber hammers.
