No adjustment. May be wear.

If you have a "V" hull, you may be experienced V hull wander. Normal.

I installed a brand new Teleflex rack system in my last boat and I always thought it was sloppy. I prefer the new rotary I installed in my current boat but it's still not exactly tight.

The boat steers fine, but I can turn the wheel back and forth quite a bit before it begins to move the engine at rest.i didnt see any way to adjust it looking under the console,it looks like the encased cable runs through the mechanism ,are there cogs and a gear on the cable like rack and pinion?

I have same poblem with my 20ft searay. wheel will turn 15 degrees before any resistance is felt and seems like slop is between gear and rack at steering wheel location. 350hrs on boat
