Two boats docked behind me have their bilge pumps kick on as much as every 30-40 minutes. Both boats are enjoyed by their owners on a weekly basis with no concerns. Wood boats spend a lot of time "sinking".

Scenario1: You or someone gets sick and you are away for an extended period of time and cannot get back to check on it.

Scenario2: You have a death in the family which keeps you away for an extended period of time.

I'm not hoping either happen to you, but it does all the time. I see it on a daily basis!
