slow to plane

[97 c.craft]

I have a 96 21 chris craft 21 bowrider 350 sx drive .Its slow to plane out, one of the trim cylinders leaks.Would this cause the problem ? whith 2 to 4 people not as bad . when up to speed is ok 30 to 32 bump trim up 40 to 42 but goes back to 30.

sorry I dont know .my tach is not working. im try ing to fix it. i know its important for this issue. thanks for replying
