Small “Crunch” on one of my chines / Glass repair question

In prepping my boat new (Used) boat for bottom paint I noticed a small “Crunch” on one of the chines. The area is probably 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. The chine is still in tact but I am worried about water getting in to the hull as this boat will be in 365 / yr. How should I approach this repair? I have no real glass experience and ugly is ok since it is going to get painted any way. 1979 Mako so there is lots of glass down there to work with.

Tips / Cautions / Ideas?

Mac

i'd find & buy some 'milled fiberglass' an mix with epoxy until it's peanut butter..

lave it on the sanded spot an out on the sanded 'good meat hull'.. it'll run an sag..

disk sand the cured ugly,, an re-do.. a few times,, it'll be good.. sand an feather edge to good meat hull an paint..

you'll find milled glass in a place that sells epoxy an epoxy fillers..
