Small Deck Plates

I've looked online, and the smallest deck plates I can find are 4" plates.
But I'm looking for something even smaller. Really small. Maybe 2.5". I haven't measured, I'm just eyeballing off the photo.
That photo is my splash well. That giant hole with the bilge pump hose coming out of it, is what I'm trying to fill. The bilge pump is now connected to an outlet on the side of the boat. So that hole is just chillin. I want to fill it in. Fiberglassing isn't my thing, but drilling a few holes and bolting a little plate over that hole is well within my abilities. But I don't want to cut the hole out any bigger. Hence this thread, and me looking for smaller plates. It doesn't have to be the kind of plate you can open up. I'd prefer a white with clear, to let more light below. But I'm actually not that picky. Let me know if you have any ideas. I saw some gas cap type covers too, I was thinking I could put something like that on there, and just have nothing under it.

Re: Small Deck Plates

I searched the site and the only result I get are one particular set of trim tabs. I think iboat's new search is not working so well. Any chance you have a link to these things?

Re: Small Deck Plates

if your decently handy you could make your own using some plexy, or maybe a piece of that opaque cover over florescent lights. that material is easy to cut and you could make clear or opaque to let light in.

Re: Small Deck Plates

*ahem* as per the first sentence in this thread, i'm looking for plates SMALLER than 4".
And no, I'm not handy enough to make one out of plexi that looks good. I could make a crappy one out of plexi, but I'd rather get a small version of those 4" deck plates for $10 and have it looking nice.
