small hole in exhaust bellows

Is there supposed to be a small hole in the exhaust bellows. I am getting the allignment checked and wanted to take care of any issues. Hole is next to the large clamp. I thought I read somewhere that there is supposed to be one. HELP

the exhaust bellows are usually notched on the bottom and have small holes in the ribs. I dont thisn this is an issue.

The drive shaft bellow on the other hand is not supposed to have holes and you want to make sure that one is good.

Thanks I believe the hole in the exhaust bellows is a drain ...when the outdrive is up and out of the water. I wish I could remember where I saw this info. But I will try to find it. Thanks for input
