Will West Marine oil clog these filters??? Having problems with keeping them from clogging. Have cleaned tanks, lines,pumps.... ect. very well. Wondering if it is the oil???

Yours is the first I have heard of except for your post on a different site, what makes you think they are plugging? Give us a little history of what is going on.

They wont pump from the tank. Remove filter everything.is ok. Pull the filter out and looks lime sludge inside. Like I said before tanks and lines cleaned extensively. Just can't believe that west marine oil would do that. Also wonderd if there was a bigger filter that could be used??

how many have you changed since you cleaned all the oil tanks and lines?
How long between having to change the filters and how much oil is run through before plugging?
