smart tabs and depth finder installation

my smart tabs will be here this week and i was looking thru the pdf and i was wondering how do i install them if there is a transducer there for the depth finder.I assume i have to relocate the transducer but where?

You really want the transducer outside the arc of the stern drive. In your case, you will probably need to move it within the arc.

When you re-mount your transducer, use a cable anchor to hold the cable to your hull. I see you have none right now. If you ever hit the transducer at high speed, that transducer will swing into the boat and strike someone who may be sitting near the stern.

You do want the smart tabs mounted as far out as possible.​

Ayuh,...... I'm running a Hummingbird,+ an Eagle,......
They're both mounted Only inches from the Outdrive on either side........
