smart tabs and fork lifts

my boat (17ft CC W/75hp outboard) is rack stored and taken out of the water with a fork lift. If I install smart tabs will they be in the way of the forks whe they take me out?

They make a simple kit that you can lock them UP with when you want to store the boat

Ken, scroll down and read the post "How do smart tabs affect my wake" In that post the lever brackets you need are described.

my swim platform is in the way of installation. Do you think I should cut a small hole in the platform for the piston to go through?
