Smart tabs on Larson SEI 180

Just wondering if anyone has put Smart tabs on a Larson SEI 180. Mine is a 2002. Port side wouldn't be a problem but the one step folding ladder might be in the way on the starboard side. Any help appreciated.

Couple things;

1. Photos would be nice so we can see what you have, it is difficult to give advise without seeing what is there, if someone here has the same boat then they could probably help with out the pics.

2. Go to http://www.nauticusinc.com/ , they have pics of different boats with the tabs on them, while on the website get the phone number and call, they are great people and will be glad to help you out.

3. I think Larson is one manufacturer that installs them on some of their boats so your dealer may be able to help

Installed them last summer on our 06 Larson SEi 180 LX.

Best $100 I've spent so far.

As an old retired guy who is a novice boater I had a marine shop install, there was absolutely no problem with the ladder. You can just see the tops in the photo.

Difference is amazing, virtually eliminated bow wander at idle speed, reduced bow rise significantly, up on plane real fast and plane at lower speeds. Don't know about top end as I have never opened it up all the way and also don't know about fuel economy.

Bottom line, I love 'em!

Rather unusual to find a reasonably priced product that actually does what it claims to do!!

If you ever get to it, would you post a larger photo? I have a 180 Sei and I am thinking about this myself. I am just curious where the shop put them.
