Just a little history in my quest for the ultimate hole shot.

Here's the story...
I am completely OCD-AR when making decisions.
I made up some templates and spent about an hour looking at the "tabs" from all angles before finally deciding on the stainless versions.
(Nauticus recommended either SX or ST with 60lb actuators)
Of course my wife wasn't surprised when she noticed me staring at the stern with the paper pieces taped to it.
I even studied things from underneath the boat to get an idea of how the water would be hitting them.
In the end, I spent all this time to come full circle to my first inclination at the start of the week...get the stainless.
Transom view: (SX on the left, ST on the right)
Looking aft towards the SX template:
Looking aft towards the ST template:
The biggest reason for going with the ST was the materials.
I'm just not that big a fan of plastic fasteners, let alone the composite tab when we're beaching rather often.
The second reason is the ST has a good bit more surface area, which equals more effective transom lift.
While the SX does extend further back (more leverage), I don't believe that makes up for the diffence in surface area.
I'm just glad to see I can fit them up without having to move the transom tie downs.
I also ordered the PR500 brackets so I can lock them up if needed.
