They do everything advertised. You get on plane faster, stay on plane at slower speeds, allows you smooth the ride in rough water, saves gas, run a little faster, idle speed wander goes away, this one I tested in a lake no wake zone, I turned the steering wheel loose and the only change in direction was from the wind blowing on the starboard side eventually turned me slightly to port. I do not think you will ever regret getting them. Skargo is right if you search for Smart Tabs there is a lot of information on this board.
