I have a mercury optimax 225 (year 2002). The engine runs great. However the smartcraft gauge on the dash does not display any data. The display does have power because it shows the digit "0" in some of the modes. All connections are good and I had the ECM checked by Rapair at their facility in Madison, Alabama and the ECM is fine. I would like any information reguarding the solution to this problem. A local shop suggests that the gauge itself could be the problem.
