smoker craft boats

buying a 1998 smoker craft 170 phantom with a merc 115.does any one own one of these?this boat or another smoker craft.just want to know about the boats good boat bad boat? dont see very many around any input would be great what to look for when buying this model of boat.i am picking it up on the 3rd so i have time to change my mind.thanks to all who reply.

Lots of Smokers in the mid'west, maybe not in Neb though. They are just a tiny step below the Lunds/Alumacrafts. They are good boats, especially from 1990 and newer, they have really improved. <br /><br />The Sylvan boats are made by the same company, just a little cheaper line, but still decent.<br /><br />As with any modified-vee hull, the ride can get a little rough in choppy seas.
