No problem Claude,<br /><br />Just reply to your own message, any reply will bump it to the top.<br /> <br />I notice that you will get the most responses at night and on the weekends, so if you don't get a response "bump" your topic up to the top now and again. <br /><br />Also be creative, these guys love to talk about synthetic oil, or 2 stroke VS. 4 motors. <br /><br />Try a naming your topic something like:<br /><br />"Installing 2 Stroke Yamaha 280 horse in a Smokercraft" <br />or<br />"Amsoil or storebrand for Smokercraft?" <br /><br />That outta get their attention <br /><br />Good Luck and Welcome aboard.

claude 70,<br /><br />There is a US Coast Guard formula for determining the max. HP rating. I can't recall what it is.<br /><br />Do a search on this board using words such as: "Maximum horsepower". It has been posted, several times.
