Smokercraft 16ft - console project

Hello,

I've been thinking about adding an aluminum console with controls/steering to my 16ft Smokercraft - Big Fish Model

I finally found an aluminum consoloe and control mount on the internet that I would like to use:

I would mount this console on the starboard side in front of the square storage box. I would use the storage box as a seat.

My question is; what do I need for steering and controls? I want to go with a very basic setup. I have a 30 HP 1998 Evinrude (2-stroke) which is mounted on an aluminum CMC trim mount (therefore the engine sits off (in back) of the transome a bit).

There seems to be many options, so I thought it would be best to ask those who know!
