Smoking

Hello,
I have recently replaced my water pump, new fuel lines, new plugs, 92 octane fuel with syn blend 2 cycle oil mixed at 50:1. After I got her running today there was a lot of smoke. At 3/4 thottle it looked like someone turned on a fog machine. This motor has not been ran for two years. Is this normal?

Pretty much.

Go to the FAQ section, page 2, DECARB.

Do a decarb and burn that crud out of there.

I got a bottle of seafoam, will that do the trick?

It will help, a can of SeaFoam Deep Creep will help too. Its the same stuff, but you spray it thru the carbs all at once, kind of pressure cleans everything.

You will not eliminate all the smoking, but you can greatly reduce it.

It's gonna take time to get rid of the smoke.It probably got fogged and you will need to just let it burn off.J
