Has anyone found any resent info on the subject? What is the status of the lake in Maryland?<br />I can't even imagine the damage those things would do to our lakes here in FL. GO Maryland Fish and Game.....Killem all

HOLY S**T, I had no idea. Thanks for the links Dale.<br />Although the pics of the fish in Maryland are palm sized, and the snakefish here are measuring close to 30 inches. It also seemed to me that any of the northern states wouldn't have mouch ot worry about anyway since the fish can't survive in waters below 50 degrees F. Which at the same time means Fl would be a perfect home sweet home for the d*mn things. I pity the snakefish that crosses my bow while I have my bow in my hands. :mad: <br /><br />Thanks again Dale :)

Florida is too close to home. The look a lot like mudfish/bowfin as the article states. If thier habits are like them then they won't be much of a problem because bowfin been around a while. However, I bet they are 100 times more agressive breed by the millions and taste bad to everything. Whatever happens I plan on doing my part because if I ever catch one I will kill it and I bowfish ocasionally to so snakeheads beware I got my eye out for you.<br />Anyone know how to train a gator to go after snakeheads??????
