Ok...... Pardon me whilst I rattle on a bit...

Merry Christmas.. Happy Holidays.. Happy Chanukah.. Happy Kwanza.. Seasons Greetings.. Have a nice day.. :)

Man alive.. I just don't see what all the fuss is about...

Seems to me all those who wish me a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays are just being friendly and wishing me well.. :)

As a "non-believer" I take no offense by any of it.... Somebody throws a "MERRY CHRISTMAS" at me, I take no offense, just smile and throw it right back at em'.. I would'nt be offended if someone threw a "HAPPY CHANUKAH" or a "HAPPY KWANZA" at me either.... Back at em', with sugar on top!...

So my question is, why in the cat hair does Jerry Falwell and his group of lawyers and attournys have their shorts in a wad over "HAPPY HOLIDAYS"?......

The message:
"Hey!... let's boycott certain stores, cause the employees won't say Merry Christmas"..... "Hey!... lets treaten to file suit with podunk Iowa cause they have a "holiday tree lighting""...

Can someone here come up with a new and original reason or arguement as to why "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" and "SEASONS GREETINGS" is BAD, as it pertains to the well wishing of the employees and decoration of certain privately held corporations?....( The Targets, Wal-marts, Macys, ect.)

Is Jerry Falwell really the Grinch?....

Is the right wing media really, Max, the Grinch's dog?...
(knows that the boss is wrong, but still goes along for the ride)

Is there really a PoDunk, Iowa?...

Well. anyway... My best wishes, and ya'll have a Happy.....ummm.....Whatever it is you're having.... :)

And to Mr. Jerry Falwell... Happy Holidays... And may the fleas of a thousand camels infest your shorts...

Heycods.. Would it have been better to portray Jerry Falwell as Ebenezer Scrooge?...... :p

Maybe the media as Bob Krachet(sp?)...

I took this from cpj's thread.

You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution.

I think this pretty much sums it up. I think the Christians are feeling somewhat persecuted. So the squeaky wheel thing starts. They're just trying to roll it back where it came from.

As far as the individual corporate intities go, I feel its up to them to make the individual decision for their companies. PC or not.

As far a Jerry Falwell ARRRRRRRGHHHH, but I do under stand his position. These corprate companies are changing their ways because of persecution pressures from a non Christian sector. $$$$$$$$$$$ makes them become PC. Dont let it be said that they (the individualized/ corprate PC croneys) are making waves that will interfere with the almighty $'s.

As far as I'm concerned... MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
