My hometown is Tulsa, and I tell you, I heard they got lashed with 16 inches of snow, people who worked at hospitals actually had to sleep there for several days cuz they roads were impossible to drive on let alone get out of neighborhoods etc.

We may get another round Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. This may be an ice event which is much uglier than snow.

I do hope for all of my I-boat brothers in the southern states that they never have to relocate to the NE part of the country because I don't think I could take it! By the way what is a 70? winter? And yea whats the deal whinnig about snow when you can still see the grass in your yard I have'nt seen my grass since before Thanxgiving!!!!!!. 38? this morning in Alliance , Ohio and 11? now and calling for 2 more "'s and 7?in the morning

I grew up in the NE shoveling snow and keeping my Dad's boat in the garage for what seemed like 6 months. I joined the AF and found Texas. Now, the only kind of snow that I like is the kind I ski on. It's funny to watch an entire city shut down for what we wouldn't have considered closing the schools for in the NE.

I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could.

Yeah we're supposedto get it on Wednesday and have to work Wednesday and Thursday night...not gonna be fun
