snowblower wish list

Re: snowblower wish list

This isn't that hard folks.

I ran Sea Foam, in my engines and NEVER had a starting issue-NEVER.

That Tecumseh (Yes, Tecumseh) would start on one or two pulls-EVERY season.

I worked it HARD. I'd blow two or three driveways before 06:00.

I bought that unit on a trip home from Fargo, ND. I burned five gallons of gas through it in 36 hours. That, alone, should tell you something.

Maintenance, or the lack of, kills snow blowers.

DJ,

Your correct. its not that hard. it sounds like you have a great machine.
if you were to buy new and take good care of it. it will last you a long long time..

I havent been so lucky, of course all of my machines have been given to me. non have been in running condition. I usually get them and have to do some work to make them operational. I will put some bucks into them and have a decent blower. Like now I have 3 blowers in the garage, my brother in law comes by and see them and says.. hey what are you going to do with those? Can I have one once you get it fixed?

He has one he bought new 2 years ago.. and had to put $200 into this year.
so I know he doesnt take care of them the way he should.

Get a old tank like this one in my garage. 54 years old no belts chain driven 7 hp and it can throw bricks. Has a headlight also. Electric start H motor. 3 stage.
