Re: Snowtober For the East

A lot of CT schools were called until next week, and a lot are being used as warming shelters. My parents are still without power. I have 6 other people staying with me (yikes) and will continue to do so until the power is back on at their houses.

Re: Snowtober For the East

I was driving in from CO when it was hitting here in central PA. Wife called to let me know she was without power for about 6 hours. Lots of downed trees and limbs awaited my return, but only about 5 inches left on the ground. With all the leaves still on the trees, the heavy, wet snow accumulated more on the trees and bushes than on the ground, causing the downed trees and power outages.

2 days later it was all gone. Have had frost every morning since, but highs in the upper 50's. Boat won't get winterized till the end of January, after hunting season. Beautiful archery season right now ... all I need is the time to go out!:(
