So Confused!!

Ok after two warped sleeves on my 2002 150efi merc the motor is scrapped for parts and my mechanic finds me a 225 Carborated mercury. I got the serial number off of it and it reads OG486812. I have done extensive internet searches on this motor and have found nothing. can someone please help!!!

Go to mercurypartsexpress.com and enter the serial number there.

It shows up as a 1997 Mariner (same thing anyway) 225hp. And here's the crazy thing, EFI
