Looking at picking this up tonight. Price seems average and looks to be in great condition with all the parts.

It recommends a short shaft and I have a long shaft. How big of an issue is that

Can't afford to just run out an buy one before this weekend. Got 2 nights reserved on the gosling islands in Maine.

Ok, that makes sense. I wont be going much faster than trolling speed to putt around and get back and forth to the boat. Ill shop for a short shaft after the season is over.

Which motor brand and model are we talking about ? If at non planing or trolling speeds not an issue, if at plane that motor will splash heavily backwards or even inwards transom. Get a 5 inch transom motor mount plate, something like this and start to have wate fun...

It's a small light inflatable for tender use, the only down issue for me is it's an air deck, needs to be inflated constantly to its recommended working higher pressure of 10-12 PSI for the deck to remain firm....
