I did not call it rub rail because if you look there is no rub rail that looks like that.

No need to look around, there's lots of rub rail that is aluminum and not a vinyl insert, my SN has AL RRs and so did the Chris Craft I ravaged in the name of Starcraft restoration. You may not find exactly that same style but there's a bunch of it out there.
