So I know I have a sig 1911 45 caliber

I’m thinking it’s had a trigger job and possibly a Hammer job and it could be anything between a P2 2224 226 227 229 or 239 - it holds 8 rounds in the mags, and I’m just starting research on this. Any info would be great. Thanks guys and by the way, I absolutely loved my turkey sandwiches today. Oh my God and I even put stuffing on it and put it all together in a sandwich maker Yum Yum Yum! Nope ALL metal, the Emperor did have this trigger, this certain TAC model was special ordered, now discontinued

Not positive what specific model you have but those slots on each side of the frame below the barrel/front of the slide are rails. Rails are mounting platforms you can mount things like lights, lasers etc.

and skeletonized trigger and hammer, and "60 grit" rough grips, talked to factory today, this is discontinued, but was custom ordered

I am going to try to get to the range this week to run 50 rounds thru the defender. I am a little concerned about the stainless being a little grabby on the discharge of brass.
