I’m thinking it’s had a trigger job and possibly a Hammer job and it could be anything between a P2 2224 226 227 229 or 239 - it holds 8 rounds in the mags, and I’m just starting research on this. Any info would be great. Thanks guys and by the way, I absolutely loved my turkey sandwiches today. Oh my God and I even put stuffing on it and put it all together in a sandwich maker Yum Yum Yum! Tomorrow I shall add cranberries. 🤣

1911 nitron, w/ "rail", 1911 x full? "

1911 TACOPS Full-Size".......I think I got it, LMAO!!!!!! ;) Are the lugs underneath the barrel considered a "rail"? - Looking at holsters, this is as heavy as my Colt 45 Gov Series 80 Accurizer

I recently got the sig 1911 emperor scorpion bb pistol with full blow back for some back yard fun and it has certainly delivered lots of fun.

Not positive what specific model you have but those slots on each side of the frame below the barrel/front of the slide are rails. Rails are mounting platforms you can mount things like lights, lasers etc.

its actually a discontinued

1911 TACOPS Full-Size, (was in 10 mm) but this the 45 version, discontinued, The 1911 Tactical Operations features a SAO trigger, low profile night sights, integral accessory rail, (under bbl) ambidextrous safety, nitron finish and Magwell. Comes with four magazines made in 2014. :) Of I know what rails are, just not sure what they called the under bbl version :)

I had a military version from Argentina. It worked well, liked it, gave it to son along with an fn49 from Luxembourg.

This is hands down still my all time favorite gun.
1972 Browning hi power.
It fits my hand like a tailored glove and I’ve runs 1000’s of rounds through it with zero hiccups.

I am going to try to get to the range this week to run 50 rounds thru the defender. I am a little concerned about the stainless being a little grabby on the discharge of brass.
