Been thinking, I've got a spare Starcraft hull. Yeah the transom metal is shot, but surely there is some way to use it on my current Starcraft hull.....

An extension?

A widening?

Double hull like an oil tanker???

C'mon guys. I need some ideas here. Oops! is just about done his project and we need something besides the Scarab to keep us going this winter...

Here's an unreasonable idea. Cut the front third off of it flip it over, cut some windows in it, install frames and lexan, place it on top of your other boat, rivet it down, call it a cabin!

Cut the top 12" off the hull and rivet / weld / 5200 / PL / ducktape & baling wire it onto your existing hull. Now you have 24" of freeboard instead of 12... :D

Cut it apart and make it into a couch and loveseat! They do that with cars, and they sell for a lot of money, why not a boat?

Re: So, I've got this spare hull......

Some ideas:

1) Floating (towable) camper

2) Flip it upside down onto a 2X4 frame - instant (custom fit) boat shelter

3) Bury 1/2 way, fill 1/2 w/ sand and add kids. Coolest sandbox in the neighborhood.

4) Viking funeral (wait, it's aluminum, nevermind)

5) Amphibious vehicle - junkyard wars style.

6) weld transom to transom w/ another Starcraft and have a HUGE canoe

7) Paint it black, add sails and cannons out the side, and a pirate flag on the mast.

Cut it in half and bolt the stern to the front of your house so it looks like an airborne boat crashing through your house.

Bury it in the ground, transom down and build a boat shrine inside of it LOL.

Me likey this idea.

Now to find a donor jeep.......

Suzuki Samurai! That's what I need. Run an adapter from the front driveshaft to a prop, install a twin stick shifter and be ready to troll.

Oooo.

Oooo.

The ideas are flowing now.
