Re: So psyched now that we have a bigger boat!

Just got my Monterey back from storage and she is in my driveway. I hope to start my season in the next few weeks and get out on my boat as often as possible. She is tuned, waxed, lubed and ready to be fired up soon. I really can not wait. I will post pictures of the season as we get out on the boat. Only had her out once last year, bu she ran great. GPS top speed was 48.9 with full fuel and 4 adults on board. I think the stainless prop helps. Talk to you all soon,

Good looking boat! Be warned though, when the wife and I went from the bowrider to the cuddy our outings changed from day trips 2-3 times per month to all weekend, every weekend from ice out to first snowfall.
A couple of years of that and it wasn't 2 foot but 7 footitus kicking in.

If you enjoy the ports and restaurants on Narragansett, trailer that beauty up to Winnipesaukee some time. Very similar boating, but also surrounded by mountains.

We will surely try a Winnepesaukee weekend this summer. We are not shy about trailering to other destinations. We already have plans for one week on the shores of Lake Champlain and another week on the St Lawrence River near Alexandria Bay. Took our 18 footer both places last summer and should be even more fun in this bigger boat.
